Vickie Allen operated the brick-and-mortar (yes, quite literally brick-and-mortar!) store for over 17 years in Old Sacramento – Discover California. Now it is being resurrected with this online version of Discover California.
If you are planning to travel to California, looking for a California vacation, or are a local trying to find something new, we hope to help you Discover California!
Vickie is a 5th generation Californian and grew up in California State Parks, where dad worked. So the love of California is something to love and share.
Vickie and her husband John enjoy traveling in California and finding new places to visit, food, and wine. They are sharing their California travel and adventures with you, with the hopes that you too will want to visit California! Join us as we share more about Discover California!
